The Riviera Beach Volunteer Fire Company has been serving the communities of Riviera Beach since 1930. We have 2 career persons per shift to staff the big equipment and the Ambulance and 2 career Medics who staff the Paramedic unit per shift. The rest of us are volunteers! With an average total staffing of 4.21 per call, we own and run
1 Quint Ladder Truck,
1 Tanker Pumper,
1 Heavy Duty Rescue Squad,
1 Engine,
1 F250 Brush Truck, and 1 County Owned BLS Ambulance .

We also own and staff a Fire Rescue Boat that is docked at the Bar Harbor Marina, just down the road. In addition we own a Special Unit trailer that carries the Rhino that it used for Brush Fires and special rescues. Our Chief 's vehicle is a Ford Expedition, our First Assistant Chief's vehicle is a Crown Victoria, and our Second Assistant Chief's vehicle is a Ford Taurus. Thanks heavily in part to the donations of the communities around us, we are able to purchase top line equipment. That is why on QNT13, E132, E131, and SQ13, you will see "Owned By The Communities We Serve" written on the rear compartments.
