Tuesday morning volunteers took the Engine to visit a local daycare.
The crew handed out coloring book went over some fire safety tips. One of our firemen dressed up as the friendly firefighter to show the kids they don’t have to be scared of us. The kids were very happy that we came to visit them.

Engine and Truck 13 arrived on scene and went right to work.
Engine 132 with 4 personal went to the basement to help with overhaul.
Truck 13 with 4 personal went to the second floor to do overhaul.
After about 15 minutes Engine 132 cleared out of the basement for the fire investigator. Engine 132 meet up with the crew of Truck 13 on the scound floor and went back to work opening up walls and the ceiling. Truck 13 advised command that the second floor was clear of smoke and hot spots. Command told Truck and Engine 13 to report to rehab. En-route to rehab Engine 132 was told to go in service. Truck 13 was placed available about 10 minutes later.

Around 1130 PM Truck 13 and Ambulance 139 were dispatched for a report of a MVC @ Fort Smallwood RD and Hillside RD. Units arrived on location with a single car accident with a car that ran through a brick sign. The driver was out of the car before we arrived on scene. A139 checked the driver for injuries and transported to BWMC to be evaluated. Truck 13 checked the car and remained on scene till the car was removed from the scene.

Volunteer & Career personnel gather to put on a live demonstration for the senior class of Northeast Highschool on the possibilities of what could happen if teenagers made the choice to drink and drive on prom night. We thrive to spread the word to not only teenagers but everyone to not get behind the wheel if under the influence.

Storms rip through Severna Park sending a volunteer crew on Engine 131 to Station 23 (Jones Station) to fill their quarters. En-route to Station 23 E131 was placed on a medical call for a sick person not alert. After arriving on scene, personnel found there were no patients to be found and they continued to Station 23. Minutes after arriving at station 23, the crew was dispatched to a 23-13 box for a report of a dwelling fire on River Breeze place. E131 was first arriving engine, laying out 500ft of 4 inch supply line. E131 pulled up to side alpha of a 2 story single family home with nothing evident and passing command and field. E171 took command and assigned crews from E131 as investigation leading them to the pull front bumper line to the front door. E131 upon investigation found a dehumidifier had caught fire in the basement with no extension. MQT30 was assigned to ventilation, placing two fans in service. Approx. an hour later, crews packed up and returned to service. E131 was than advised to return to quarters.

Saturday night members and career personnel gather to complete water flow drills on the new Tiller truck. E131 hooked up to the hydrant on the front ramp and connected to the ladder truck to flow water through the ladder pipe.
